Meet the Team
All of our chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council and members of the British Chiropractic Association.
Dr Scott Middleton
Scott Middleton graduated as a chiropractor in 1977 after initially studying for a BSc Hons in Biology and Physics. After three years post-graduate work specialising in orthopaedics, neurology, rheumatology, sports injuries and paediatrics he started the Wilmslow Chiropractic Clinic.
Scott’s standard protocol is not to treat a patient more than four times unless they show good evidence of improvement. This protocol is based on the results of independent private and NHS audits of over 100,000 patients who have been seen in his clinics during the past forty years. He has lectured at many conferences and post-graduate medical centres both in the UK and internationally. Scott has well established networks with local orthopaedic consultants, neurosurgeons, GPs and physiotherapists.
In addition to being registered with the General Chiropractic Council, Scott is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic and a Fellow of the British Chiropractic Association.
Dr Gowan Robinson
Gowan Robinson graduated from AECC in 1980 as a Doctor of Chiropractic and after two years of postgraduate work in a long-established clinic in Leeds joined Scott at the Wilmslow Chiropractic Clinic in 1982.
Gowan primarily uses the standard chiropractic techniques and rather than specialising in specific medical conditions prefers treating a very wide variety of musculoskeletal problems.
Gowan has attended many medical seminars and has long-established networks with local orthopaedic consultants, neurosurgeons, GPs and physiotherapists.
Gowan is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, is a Member of the British Chiropractic Association and has further international US qualifications.
Dr Lindsay Beardsworth
Lindsay joined our team in 2007 after graduating as the top student from Glamorgan University and completing her post-grad education with Scott. She has also enjoyed furthering her professional qualifications by training in both Myofascial Dry Needling and in Pregnancy and Foetal Development.
Lindsay enjoys treating a range of patients, from week old babies to patients in their 90′s, as well as professional and semi-professional sportsmen and women.
Lindsay has attended multiple seminars at various hospitals and institutions and has established great communication networks with local orthopaedic consultants, neurosurgeons and GPs.
Lindsay is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a Member of the British Chiropractic Association.
